Our Mission

Nevada Premier’s mission is to honor each student’s unique journey by fostering an inclusive, high-expectations learning environment that combines rigorous academics with career-connected learning, empowering every student to graduate prepared for college, careers, and lifelong success.

Our Vision

At Nevada Premier, we believe in creating career opportunities and career options that may or may not include a traditional pathway to a college/university. We employ a rigorous curriculum that is student-centered with a focus on workforce opportunities after graduation.

NEVADA PREMIER is a proposed public charter high school (9th-12th GRADE) Pending Approval, Located in Henderson, Nevada, opening Fall 2027.

Nevada Premier College, Career, and Technical Academy strives to offer a reimagined educational experience for students whose current learning environment does not meet their educational needs by combining a flexible hybrid instructional model with a pathway that provides strong academic monitoring, personalized supports, and clear post-secondary options aligned with Nevada’s workforce demands.

MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER

Hi, I’m Angela Cordova, founder and CEO of the proposed charter school Nevada Premier College, Career, and Technical Academy.

As a lifelong Nevadan and public educator, I am driven to establish this Public Charter School because students want and deserve an educational model that combines structure and flexibility to maximize their growth. This growth is supported by accurate, relevant, timely, and credible information to empower the student and their family.

When Nevada Premier College, Career, and Technical Academy opens for the 2027-2028 school year, we will provide multiple pathways to graduation. We will offer a variety of CTE (Career and Technical Education) and Dual Credit programs both on campus and through partnerships with the Nevada System of Higher Education to ensure our students have access to a high-quality educational program that combines flexibility, purpose, and relevance–qualities needed to thrive in our ever-changing world. Ultimately, their education at Nevada Premier will lay the groundwork for a fulfilling career and develop transferable skills that support lifelong learning.

At Nevada Premier College, Career, and Technical Academy, we believe in a transformative path to graduation and a framework for sustainable success. Our hybrid model provides an outstanding educational experience while enabling students to learn outside the traditional brick-and-mortar classroom.

In our diverse, growing city, high school should be a time of growth, exploration, and individual development — education should be limitless, not confined to a 40’ x 40’ classroom. Nevada Premier believes growth isn’t rushed; it’s supported and nurtured.
